Location: Kraków, Lesser Poland Voivodeship

Join us for a workshop for people who want to expand their repertoire of ties and discover alternatives to the classic TK and armbinder.

During the class, we will focus on the Tenshi and Tengu forms, their sequences, working under tension, and ways to use them in partial suspensions and suspensions.

The workshop will be adapted to the level of the group, allowing those with less experience to focus on the basics and simpler positions, while more experienced participants can try more demanding variations.

🔸 Tenshi

We will begin by working carefully through the Tenshi tying sequence and the principles of how it works under tension. Once we have mastered the basics, we will move on to using the tie in practice, first in simpler positions and then in suspensions suited to the abilities and experience of the participants. We will focus both on the rigger’s technique and on the model’s comfort, communication, and bodily responses.

🔸 Tengu

Tengu can be an interesting alternative for people who do not feel comfortable with their arms tied behind their back or for whom this position is physically demanding.

During the workshop, we will work through the Tengu sequence both in a quicker version and in a variation prepared for suspension work. We will then use the tie we have learned in simple partial suspensions and suspensions.

🔸 Workshop program:

  • Tenshi tying sequence
  • principles of working with Tenshi under tension
  • examples of simple positions with Tenshi
  • using Tenshi in suspensions
  • Tengu tying sequence
  • quick Tengu variation and version for suspensions
  • using Tengu in partial suspensions and suspensions

🔸 Who this workshop is for:

The workshop is intended for people who already have basic experience with Shibari and want to explore more ways of working with the upper body beyond the classic TK. It is also suitable for people looking for solutions better suited to the anatomy, range of motion, or comfort of the person being tied.

🔸 Requirements for riggers:

  • the ability to handle rope with even and deliberate tension
  • knowledge of basic single- and two-column cuffs
  • the ability to tie and manage suspension ropes
  • your own set of ropes

🔸 Requirements for rope bottoms:

  • comfortable, close-fitting clothing without underwires
  • the ability to communicate sensations and boundaries
