We invite couples and people in relationships to a one-day workshop for those who want to invite Shibari into their bedroom and discover how to use rope to build tension, intimacy and their own dynamic.
During the workshop, we will experiment with what can be conveyed through rope—from gentleness and invitation, through confidence and leading, to anticipation, tension and conscious play with dynamics.
Workshop programme:
🔸 Technical basics
- simple cuffs and their variations
- ways of combining basic ties
- using them to create your own positions
- safe rope work at home
🔸 Rope as a language
Technique will be our starting point, but not an end in itself.
We will work on how to convey completely different intentions with the same tie, such as gentleness, control, leading, stopping or building anticipation. We will combine rope with touch, movement, eye contact and the way we lead our partner.
🔸 Creating your own positions
We will use the techniques we learn to build positions adapted to our own needs, preferences and relationship dynamics. You can focus more on technique, experimenting with positions, building tension or creating sensual frames and photographs. If time allows, we will also work through several ready-made positions that can later be used as a basis for further play at home.
🔸 Boundaries and your own pace
Not every couple looks for the same thing in rope.
During the workshop, we leave room for your own boundaries, needs and level of comfort. Each couple decides for themselves how intensively they want to work with the proposed exercises.
No sexual activity takes place during the workshop. We work around sexuality through tension, intimacy, dynamics and atmosphere.
🔸 Who is this workshop for:
- couples and people in relationships
- primarily beginners
- people who want to use Shibari as an element of intimacy and bedroom play
- people who want to learn not only how to tie, but also what can be conveyed through rope
No previous experience with Shibari is required.
Due to the nature of the exercises, it is not possible to participate without a partner.
🔸 Additional information:
- You do not need to have your own ropes.
- Ropes will be available on-site for use during the class.
- The workshop takes place in an atmosphere of respect for the boundaries and individual pace of each couple.
- Come with curiosity, openness and a willingness to experiment.
